On November 11th, 2019, the Football team gathered on the turf to celebrate their fifteen graduating seniors after school. These seniors, Zach Garcia, Jaylin Hertz, Justice Ellison, Elijah Wasson, James Shumway, Chris Hendrix, Danny Weir, Danny Stone, Logan Copeland, Brian Sherer, Yash Mehta, Sami Khleifat, Nick Hendrix, Emad Said, and Catie Stack, walked from the end-zone while giving each player helpful advice.

Senior Yash Mehta commented on the Last 100 Yards: “I was a really great way to end the season.”

Non-senior players on the team also expressed their farewells to the seniors. The goal of this event is to create team bonding for the last time with the seniors. The Last 100 Yards Event was organized by the coaches: Head Coach Jason Thomas, and Assistant Coaches Jeffrey Sejour, Peter Salvano, Malcolm Scott, Jeremiah Garcia, and Marcus Odell. Even though it was the first year that the football team organized such an event, it was very successful. Some of the seniors are going to play football in college, while for others, this will be their last football game. This made the event even more memorable.
