Mr. Shedd is one of the faculty advisors for The View. He has a BA in English from Willamette University in Salem, Ore. with a minor in Rhetoric and Media Studies, and an MA in Liberal Studies from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

 

He has been a member of the English Department at Flint Hill since 2016, and has served as a faculty advisor for The View since then. He has taught English 8, English II, English II Honors, and junior/senior seminars on subjects such as Short Stories and Film Criticism, and also coached cross country and basketball. What he enjoys most about working on The View is helping empower students to speak out about issues that matter to them, and to help them document and celebrate the achievements of the Flint Hill community.
