Over the past couple of months, the Flint Hill Swim & Dive program has continued to shine, achieving success both in the water and beyond. Impressively, the swim team took home the MAC championship title for the third year in a row, and many are moving on to compete in the Virginia State championships in just a couple of weeks. 

This year’s season has been marked by tremendous success thanks to the team’s coaching leadership from Coaches Mike Anderson & Ashley DeWolf, who show up to every practice, meet, and event, leading the team with support, and growing our younger huskies to follow in the footsteps of success. 

Reflecting on the season, the team hosted Senior Night for the Class of 2026, celebrating the long-term effort and success of our Husky leaders: Lucas Bermudez (C), Thomas Carstater (C), Brooke Kearney (Dive), Stella Randall (Dive), Megana Chadive, Camdyn Parker (C), Brooke Crickenberger (C), Henna Raj, Devon Baker (C), Sam Jacobsen (C), Karan Chugh (C), and Zach Arnold (C)*. Over the course of four years, Coach Anderson remarks, “coaching leadership hasn’t always remained constant [and] it has been remarkable to see the progress of 2026.” Importantly, it is exciting to celebrate Lucas Bermudez ‘26, who will be swimming at the University of Mary Washington in the fall, continuing with his swimming career. After many hours of dedication and commitment, it is a wonderful honor to send Lucas off to UMW, where he will undoubtedly continue his fast-and-furious swimming talents. 

As the team wraps up its ‘25-26 season, it has been awesome to watch the team’s success. Brooke Crickenberger ‘26 noted, “We know that the team will continue with a dedicated spirit next year, leading with a blazing path of success.”

The team is excited to see what they can achieve next year, and the coaching staff is looking forward to welcoming new team members next season. Go Huskies!
